Our combined 23 years experience in the oil and gas industry enables us to understand the requirements and dynamics of the position. We utilize our extensive referral network and cold call marketing to screen candidates for a good fit. We focus on the “hidden” market … employed, talented professionals who are open to considering better opportunities. We not only look for technical competence but always consider “soft skills” (communication skills, attention to detail, pride in the finished project) to be of equal importance. We then present the most qualified candidates to our clients.

Fees and Bill Rates:

Direct Hire Staffing
At Cyd Consulting LLC, we work on a 20% “fixed fee” basis – a charge, payable by the employer, based upon the agreed annual starting salary. Our fee is contingent on the hiring of a candidate referred by one of our offices. We reserve the right to include as annual salary any expected bonus, including performance bonus, sign-on bonus, commission or guaranteed increase in salary which is part of the initial employment offer.

We believe this approach removes any incentive to inflate salary requirements or search for more expensive candidates to increase the size of the fee. If preferred by our clients, we can work on a “floating fee” schedule. Either way, our clients find our fees very competitive.

Contract Staffing
We also have some of the lowest consultant bill rates in the market. We control costs and keep our infrastructure low so that we can pass the savings on to you. Our ultimate goal is to be as flexible as possible to arrive at terms and rates that best fit the needs of our individual clients.

Guarantee

If the full fee is paid within ten (10) calendar days after the starting date of employment, a ninety (90) calendar day pro rata guarantee will be in effect. Otherwise, a thirty (30) calendar day pro rata guarantee will be in effect.

In either case, if the employee's employment terminates for any reason other than reorganization, elimination of position, takeover, or material change in job responsibility within the applicable guarantee period, we will refund a pro rata portion of the fee paid or issue credit for such amount in the event we provide a replacement. The refund will be equal to 1/90th or 1/30th, as applicable, multiplied by the number of days remaining in the guarantee period as of the last day of employment.

Affiliates

The fee applies to candidates referred by us for a specified or an alternate position, and employed by you or an affiliate or any other entity as a result of subsequent referrals by you, either as an employee, consultant or independent contractor, within twelve (12) months from the date of our referral to you.
