Job Title: Completions Engineer

Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for overseeing the planning and implementing of completions for wells, including well planning, casing design, making material, equipment decisions, and stimulation design. They will provide support to field operations during the completion of well projects including fracture treatments, coiled tubing, pumping operations, snubbing, well testing, and workover rig jobs. This position will also prepare cost estimates and AFE's for completion of wells and ensure that regulatory requirements are being met to maintain safety. Qualified candidates will be capable of managing varied completion operations from active resource play programs to technically challenging environments. They will work closely with drilling and completion staff and field and operational personnel; therefore, must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and external contacts. The ideal candidate will possess innovative thinking and strong planning and organizational skills. Qualified candidates will also have a basic knowledge of other areas including reservoir, drilling, and facilities engineering. Travel to field locations will be required as needed (approximately 25% a month). A minimum of 8 years experience and an engineering degree are required.
